The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed about the significant quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area each day. The assistance issue produced for intervention experiences a large inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for the office to sassa attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to permit the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
